Assembly and Senate Democrats Launch www.BuildingABetterNevada.com

Promotes joint agenda and gathers input from Nevadans

Carson City, NV- Assembly and Senate Democrats have launched www.BuildingABetterNevada.com in anticipation of the start of the 2013 legislative session. Nevadans are encouraged to visit the site, where they can share their vision on how to build a better Nevada, keep up to date on important issues during session, and learn about various members and issues in the spotlight section.

“We are truly a citizen legislature in Carson City, and we are looking forward to the input of all Nevadans on what they want their state to look like in the future,” said Speaker of the Nevada Assembly Marilyn Kirkpatrick. “Our new website BuildingaBetterNevada.com has made it easier than ever to tell your legislator and public officials what you want the future of our state to look like.”

“Building a Better Nevada” is about having a discussion of proposals that Assembly & Senate Democratic Caucuses believe will move our state forward. The website will display plans that are common sense ideas to make sure our state is on the right path for generations to come.

“We have been saying for months that this session will be different than years past. This website, with its ability to interact with constituents, is proof that we are going to start the session in a new direction” said Senate Majority Leader Mo Denis.

www.BuildingaBetterNevada.com launches on the first day of session and will stay regularly updated throughout the 77th legislative session.
